1.7 - Special Rules

Every data sheet includes special rules, each of which has an effect. When a special rule is used, the effect is applied. In addition, most special rules have restrictions. Special rules can also be found in sets of allegiance and army special rules as well as in the rules for Rites of War (see 18.1). Many special rules are common across all the armies and factions of the Long War system. You can find a list and reference of all of these common special rules and their effects on page (16.0).

Note: If the effect of a Special rule contradicts the core rules, the Special rules effect takes precedence.
