1.7.4 - Triggered Effects
Core Rules, p. 12
The effects of some abilities are applied when a dice roll triggers them. For example, the effect of a special rule might be triggered on an unmodified hit roll for an attack is 6. A triggered effect is applied immediately after the hit roll is triggered. If two or more effects are triggered by the same roll, only one of those effects can be applied. The player who made the roll must pick which effect is applied. Rending (x), Crushing (x) and Arcing (x) special rules are considered triggered effects.
