6.2 - Retreat

Core Rules, p. 15

When you pick a unit to Retreat, you can move each model in that unit a distance in inches equal to your unit's Movement (M) characteristic. The unit must end the move more than 3" away from all enemy units. A unit that makes a Retreat Move in the Movement Phase may still Shoot in the Shooting Phase, but all attacks by the unit that Retreated are resolved as Snap Shots (8.2.1) unless made with Pistol type weapons (see 8.4.1).
