8.0 - Shooting Phase
In your shooting phase, you can pick a friendly unit and shoot with it. When you shoot with a unit you make shooting attacks with each model in the unit until you have shot with all the models you want to. You can then pick another friendly unit that has not shot and shoot with it, and so on, until you have shot with as many units as you wish.
When you make Shooting Attacks with a model, it may attack with any of the eligible ranged weapons it is armed with.
When you shoot with a unit you make attacks with all of the eligible models in the unit. The weapons that the models in a unit are equipped with are referenced on their data sheet and found in their factions wargear section. Ranged weapons are used to make shooting attacks and are different from melee weapons.
Each model in the unit may only attack with 1 weapon it is equipped with. Certain unit types (see 17.0) and Universal special rules (see 15.0) may ignore this rule.
