Ancient Bulwark
Following the Horus Heresy, the Iron Hands were left with limited numbers of Terminator Suits. However, as the Chapter aged, it found itself with a great number of Dreadnoughts in which heroes of the chapter had been interred. The Iron Hands as such made use of an old doctrine colloquially known as the "March of the Ancients" as a defensive formation. As part of the Ancient Bulwark, the Iron Hands will deploy a large number of Dreadnoughts and Invictor Tactical Suits to form an armoured battleline around which squads of troops will rally. As a defensive doctrine, the ancients of the chapter are supported by static weaponry and serve as rallying points for infantry.
