Remnants of Old Nostromo

When the Night Lords were a loyal space marine legion, their homeworld of Nostromo was ruled by a corrupt ruling caste. This high society of nobility feed the worst dregs of society, criminals and the insane to the Night Lords legion as revenge for the terror the Night Haunter Konrad Curze unleashed upon them. However, not all of the members of the Night Lords were from the lower caste. Many of the nobility who joined the legion bound together as elite warrior cadres who answered to none but their own. While Nostromo may be gone, these profoundly arrogant killers still bind together, often lording over lesser Night Lords or acting as elite mercenary forces and shock troopers for other Chaos Warbands, including their own former legion. Unlike the cowardly and criminally obsessed miscreants of the rest of the legion, these are disciplined, dedicated, and well trained and equipped warriors who possess much of the legion's relic armoury.
