The Crouchling

Genestealer Cults :: Table of Contents
Codex: Genestealer Cults, p. 3

Cost: 20pts

The most favoured of cults are visited by the Crouchling, a skittering familiar that talks in a high, reedy voice. Though small and weak of limb, the Crouchling is a powerful psychic presence, able to cast hypnotic spells and visit mind-wracking hallucinations upon those who earn its master's ire.

One unit in your army with the Character & Psyker (x) special rules that does not have the Unique keyword and no other Relic Wargear may purchase this wargear. This relic counts as a Close Combat Weapon. In addition, the model with this relic can attempt to cast 1 additional Psychic Power each Shooting Phase beyond its Psyker (x) limit. However, any doubles rolled on the Psychic Test result in a Peril of the Warp. Instead of resolving the Peril of the Warp as normal however, this relic can no longer be used for the rest of the game (as the Crouchling suffers the Psychic feedback instead).
