Psyker (X)

Core Rules, p. 40

In the Shooting Phase, a model with this special rule may attempt cast a Psychic Power or Psychic Weapon. The Power/Weapon available to a unit are listed in their relevant Codex. The value of (x) is the number of Powers/Weapons a unit may attempt to cast each phase. To perform a Psychic Power/Psychic Weapon, the unit performing it must make a Leadership Test referred to as a Psychic test. If the roll is equal to or lower than the units Leadership (LD) characteristic, the test is passed, and the Psychic Power/Weapon is successfully performed or may resolve an attack with the Psychic Weapon. If the roll is greater than the units Leadership (LD) characteristic, the test is failed, and Power/Weapon is not cast. If a unit with more than 1 model with this special rule wishes to cast a Psychic Power/Weapon, the power is measured from 1 model in the unit. If a unit with this special rule, when performing its Leadership Test rolls a double 6 or a double 1, suffers a Peril of the Warp and it must immediately roll on the following Perils table after resolving its Psychic Power/Weapon. A unit cannot cast the same power more than once per phase unless otherwise stated.
