Assassination
"In the shadow of thousands of crusades and their warzones, targets of opportunity are constantly looking to be exploited. Enemy commanders, priests, demagogues and other important figures are all ripe targets for destabilising the enemy forces in an area. However, such individuals are not the only targets marked for death and destruction. Sometimes that honour is extended to a particular group of veterans or a noteworthy vehicle that has ravaged enemy forces in the past and distinguished themselves in the field. As such, many commanders seek to eliminate each other's vital assets while protecting their own. However, the nature of war is that enemies often strike when most unexpected and when you are at your most vulnerable."
Determine which player will be the Attacker and which player will be the Defenders.
The Attacker has come to claim the heads of their chosen foe. The Attacker deploys first.
The Defender wishes to preserve their forces and make an escape or drive the enemy back. The Defender deploys second.
Chosen target
Before deployment begins, the Attacker must select a single enemy unit in the Defender's army. This is the Attacker's chosen target and is determined for VP. The amount of VP is determined by the type of the target. See Victory Conditions below. The chosen target may not have the

The Attacker scores VP based on if the chosen target was slain and removed from play (or fled). The amount of VP scored from a unit's removal is based on the following criteria. If the target meets multiple criteria, the target is worth the sum total of the VP from all criteria it meets:

Vehicle .
The Defender scores 1 VP if at least 25% of all enemy units are slain and removed from play. The Defender scores 1 additional VP if at least 50% of all enemy units are slain and removed from play. The Defender scores 1 additional VP if at least 75% of all enemy units are slain and removed from play. If the Defender slays all of the Attacker's units, the Defender scores 1 additional VP. These VP are cumulative (to a max of 4). This does not include summoned units which do not count towards scoring VP in this scenario.
The Defender also scores 1 VP if they slay the enemy Warlord.
The Defender also scores 1 VP if they have a unit end the game in the Attacker's Deployment Zone.
