Supply Raid

Shadow War Battle Pack, p. 6

"In the grander scheme of crusades and conflicts, protecting supply lines is crucial. However, ensuring that there are no supplies for the enemy to transport is a valid tactic as well. Strike forces moving behind enemy lines seek out depots and stockpiles of supply to burn and steal. Such stockpiles are often defended by small garrisons who seek to prevent exactly that. Many raids are done on time limits to avoid roaming patrols and mobile defender that will respond to repel such incursions thus making them swift and brutal firefights."

Determine which player will be the Attacker and which player will be the Defenders.

The Attacker is raiding the stockpiles of supply. The Attacker deploys first.

The Defender is tasked with guarding the supplies. The Defender deploys second.

Time Limit

This mission is only played for 4 Battle Rounds instead of 5 as normal.

Victory Conditions

A player scores 1VP at the end of each Battle Round for every Objective marker they control (representing stockpiles of supplies).

If the Attacker controls an Objective (that is not contested), they may burn the stockpile (objective marker) instead at the end of a Battle Round.

When an Attacker burns a stockpile (objective marker), they score a number of VP equal to the current Battle Round number. The Objective marker for the stockpile is then removed.

In addition to the regular VP scored from holding objectives at the end of each Battle Round, the Defender scores 1 additional VP at the end of the battle for each stockpile which has not been burned by the Attacker after the first battle round.

The winner is the player with the most VP at the end of the battle.
