Fly

Core Rules, p. 38

A unit with this special rule ignores other models and terrain features when you trace the path of its move across the battlefield (it flies over them). In addition, when a model in a unit with this special rule starts or finishes a move on a terrain feature, instead of tracing its move across the battlefield, you can trace it through the air.

A flying model cannot finish its move on top of another model or finish any Normal Move, Advance, or Retreat within 3" of any enemy models. Models with Fly are not subject to Dangerous or Difficult Terrain rules when passing through such terrain but will still take Dangerous Terrain Tests (per 7.3.5) if they end their move on top of such terrain unless they are an Aircraft.

Units with the Fly special rule may Retreat and still shoot in the shooting phase at their full Ballistic Skill (BS). Units with this special rule may Charge Aircraft type units.
